Loved this episode. This should give the go ahead for the next season. Was kind of shocked that Bette crossed the line with her TA. I still am leary of that girl. She's out for herself. Will now watch the episode again. Thought it was the best so far. Wants to keep you tuned in.

Tina & Henry's party was funny and i think we saw that Tina didn't really fit in with everyone...

as least the gang was trying to be nice...

i don't care what any one says....

Bette is funnier this season...

her reaction at the party was good she didn't lose it...and she could have and should have...i would have....

and then when she was preping the gang wbeofre Phillis got there funny as hell!!

I just got through watching the third episode. I was laughing the whole time!

It was funny as hell. It sucks for Max that he cant be like the other guys but hes a girl.
I felt weird for the girls when they went to Tina's "mixer" but of course Alice thought of something to intertain them, for a little while.
Bette is her commanding self again and i love it. I admired that she held back when that prick was being an ***. In the other seasons she would have blown up on him and gave him what he deserved. I dont think she should have crossed the line by sleeping with Nadia b/c it will probably come back to bite her in the *** but then i was thinking go for it b/c she needs to have a little fun aiwebs2

I have to give it to Nadia she is one VERY persistant woman who knows what she wants, and in Bette's case got what she wanted.
I think Tina is realizing that she just doesnt fit in with her old friends and is feeling sad about it.
Alice is a trip! Bette tells her to let Phyllis down easy and she sets up a date.
Its hard to believe Helena had such a hard time at Wax b/c she did so well at her other job. I know it was totally different from what she was doing at Wax but still, dealing with people, talking on the phone, setting up appointments, and stuff like that shouldnt have been that hard for her. I think she's just freaking out b/c nothing is normal for her.
And Shane and Shay are so cute together, Shay will be good for Shane in the long run.
I am soooo ready for Jodi to show up and for her and Bette to start dookin it out, in bed and out aiwebs2

I LOVE THIS SHOW, especially this season. Now i'm gonna watch it again.

Wasn't Sarah Shahi supposed to be in this episode?

On the whole, I felt like this episode wasn't so great, and ABSOLUTELY way too flipping short.

What the hell? Shane didn't even throw in the towel to Papi? I expected Shane to shake hands, give Papi a Clint Eastwood "Good, Bad, and Ugly" look, and say 'Let's dance'. But now, the only thing I can think of to say is 'Holy f'n shit'.

This was pretty doggone funny!

Definitely disappointed that Bette went there...I thought she was gonna throw her a*s out of the car! Nadia's wardrobe didn't get any better...

The "mixer party" was so full of stereotypical heterosexuals!

Rewatching to see more stuff.

Alice was a trip! fav line "thank god you're here we're out numbered by straight people" haha that party part was crazy- in the huh? way not the wow that was awesome, henry sucks.. so it isnt a surprise that his friends do as well. When his friend went off on Bette about Angie wanting to stay or live with the "father" or donor i thought Alice would jump in and rip him a new one. haha im glad shane didnt go into a "i bet i can sleep with more girls then u" stuff, i like that she seems more "Grown" it's soooo cute to see her "parenting" shay lol poor mangus well he should try a solo act or join Kit and do somethin butter boy and Kit, yep i can see it now what a hit! poor helena, lets see who else did i miss? oh Bette was awesome and she is getting funny... Jenny is out of her mind but i luv it, stacyyyyyyyyy lol she's so gangsta "yo stacy come say it to my face you fu*kin V wig" hahah.. 2 funny.

all in all awesome ep cant wait for the next one Laughing

My initial reaction is that this episode was very funny and on the whole, much better than the first 2 episodes.

Alice and Helena just make the episodes for me this season. They're both so damn cute and by far the most loveable characters.

Yay for Bette. I wanted her to go there, it might not be right, but I just wanted her to go there. Hawt!

Shane and Papi meeting - lame. I was glad Shane was like whatever. The whole Papi storyline just doesn't do it for me. I am still left wondering why the writers are writing a storyline about some girl named Papi who has slept with over 1000 women. I am not sure how that advances anything on this show, but maybe that's just me.

Tina, my dear, you were much more interesting when you were gay.

Poor Angus. I feel for you.

Max, I still don't care.

And Jenny. Oh my Jenny. I love you no matter what. I just do and I always will. And how you make me smile and laugh. BUT, I'm with Alice - let the review go. You're going to slip back into your circus freak era and I just don't want to see that. Can't you just start your next novel and find a nice new girlfriend and have really amazing sex with her, because you're just damn hot Jenny.

This one I will need to watch again. There's more I'm sure!

Welllll....Thank goodness....I'm finally feeling it...the old L vibe. I thought this was a very good ep and it started off with just the right note of Jenny doing a Brando "Streetcar" parody. I really have missed those clever prologues. I always thought that they set the series apart from others and left just a bit of mystery to be solved either in the ep or sometime later. This one was easily solved through the scripting of the ep and it was fitting and clever!!! And the set and music were perfect from the film....lots of money spent for a few minutes but well worth it for a series that wishes to be original

Another very clever moment was the showdown at the OK Corral between Shane and Papi....so well done .....the black and white and the intercut shots were great. the fact that Shane easily dismisses the rivalry and gives the victory to Papi was so Shane......IN KEEPING with her character ( which is something we all hate when that is breached)

And Bette is back to her pooty-chasing ways!!!!!! Damn, I swore on another thread that Bette's professional ethics would never allow such a thing. Welllll..... I was so wrong and , you know what????? I didn't mind. Bette is sooooo edgy and she has perhaps always been this way. She takes huge chances and in the art world this may have been accepted. I don't know why I thought this would not happen because i do remember the university setting as a hotbed of sexual activity , but somehow I thought Bette would have been more careful. Wrong again!!! BTW...I did like her phone conversation with Tina...well done JB!!!

Poor Helena....living with a tidy person...."the untidy person should abide by the tidy person's rules" And she looked so cute and out of place at " The Wax". What will Helena be good at?????? And speaking of feeling sorry for a character...poor Angus and I loved when Kit threw the rest of the band out of the Planet!!! Best Angus moment...."Boy Butter"!!!!!

Loved Alice all through the ep, but especially when she showed up as Phyllis' dinner date....

The gay/straight soiree was uncomfortable ( Lily Tomlin is not a lesbian, is she??) and I wonder why Tina felt that this was going to work....Mikey's line, "Watch out, there's going to be a crash was prophetic.....Bette maintained her cool which was admirable...and after all Tina doesn't live there....."YET"!!!! Was that prophetic also?????? And this is the first time that I've heard Bette say that her mother was dead...she said parents....but I always held out the hope that we would meet her.

Favorite line...."Lesbians eat their own." Laughing

I still don't like the idea of Bette with someone other than Tina but I thought the end of this ep was hot!!!!!!!! Just my opinion.
