more about Laurel's role in Gigantic (thanks to laurelholloman.net)

Laurel's character on "Gigantic" is re-occurring. She plays a single mom who is raising her teenage son (the lead character) and who used to be a pop star. She is struggling to raise her son with values amongst the wealthy Hollywood crowd.

The show has been picked up for 20 episodes. Depending on how Laurel's character is tied in, it could potentially lead to more episodes.

The show is sort of an Entourage meets Gossip Girl and also stars Grace Gummer (daughter of Meryl Streep).
