JB cast in Hallmark movie
"Lie to Me" star Jennifer Beals has been cast in Hallmark Channel's original movie "The Night Before the Night Before Christmas."
The family film is about what happens when Santa Claus accidentally leaves the North Pole a day early and crash-lands on a family's roof.
The production has begun shooting in Toronto and is set to premiere next year on Hallmark Channel.
Since Showtime's "The L Word" concluded its run, Beals has co-starred in Fox's "Lie to Me" and appears in the upcoming feature "The Book of Eli."
"Night Before Christmas" is produced by Muse Entertainment; Michael Prupas, Rob Lee, James Orr, Jim Cruickshank and Joel S. Rice are executive producers.

The Foxes decide to check on the commotion and think at first that he's just a mall Santa, but with the help of their son, Toby, who still believes, they decide to play along to help Santa out. But he's lost his memory and his magical bag and soon they realize they've got a true crisis on their hands -- and that they better start helping Santa remember what's he supposed to do so that the world doesn't have to miss Christmas.

Lie To Me is filming at 506 S Grand Ave in Los Angeles, from 6 am-7 pm.
