Ok, HERE is the ONLY spot for spoilers! Keep 'em here and nowhere else. Shockingly, there are some people who prefer to remain spoiler free. Let's try to help them out.
Post spoilers here. Spoiler discussion and speculation go here:

Not a spoiler but a fact: filming begins approx. the end of April. |

So, I have actually found a site that has posted spoilers already. It says they are from someone who knows someone who knows a writer of the L Word staff. It is written in German, so I will feel free to translate it.
[Source: http://thelblog.twoday.net/stories/1837248]
# Helena and Bette get together and share custody over Angelica and Helenas children. Tina is generously reembursed (like, millions). Although Peggy shut Helena out of money, she pays the reembursement, since she feels that Bette could have a good influence on Helena. Tina and Bette might get back together again during the season..
# Shane will be outcasted by Carmen for a good part of the season and gets highly addicted to Meth (Speed). She is devastated because of her father, who will actually be the one to save her in the end. Cherie Jaffe will keep bugging Shane. The storyline is still unclear..
# Jenny and Max become actually normal and consider making a family.
# Kit is going to lose the baby and Angus is going to have an affair with Dana's brother Howie.
# There will be two new main members of the cast: An asian and a persian woman enter Alice's life. She'll encounter them at KCRW.
Okay. I have a slight suspicion that most of this is bullshit. Angus and Howie? Someone's trying to make fun of us- but I thought it was worthy enough to put it up here, since the site I got it from is usually reliable (or so I suppose, the writer kind of puts everything in a comedic light- I don't think though that they made them up themselves, seeing as they mentioned how they're not going to laugh about the spoilers, considering what happened in Season 3..).
Let's cross fingers and hope these are untrue, too. _________________ "Sorry" isn't an excuse when you do something stupid on purpose. |

There is a separate thread for DISCUSSION and speculation. I'm going to delete all posts in this forum that aren't *spoilers*.
More fact that will eventually lead to spoilers: the show is in pre-production. The actors report the very beginning of MAY.

| I read that Max and Carmen were going to be off the show. It was from another l word fan site so I don't know if it's true or not. Also, Sara Shahi is going to be on a new show on like FOX or something. |

Yay!! I found a spoiler!!! Marlee Matlin (one of my favorite actresses and many crushes) will be in 11 episodes of The L Word next season. She plays a lesbian artist who's deaf and has an attraction to Bette. The source is from Afterellen.com in the Best Lesbian Week Ever Section. For those who don't know, I took a bio of her from IMDB.com so you can learn more about her.
Marlee Matlin:
Marlee Beth Matlin was born on August 24, 1965, to parents Don and Libby Matlin; she was their 3rd child. Marlee was rendered deaf at the age of 18 months through a bout with Roseola Infantum. That didn't stop her from acting in a children's theatre company at age 7; she was Dorothy in "The Wizard of Oz." Her deafness never held her back; as an adult she said it so eloquently, "I have always resisted putting limitations on myself, both professionally and personally." Marlee studied Criminal Justice courses at Harper College in Palatine, Illinois, and maintained her passion for acting after graduating. While performing on stage throughout Chicago and the Midwest, Marlee was discovered in a stage production of the Tony award winning play "Children of a Lesser God" and was cast for the movie version Children of a Lesser God (1986). This was the film debut of the petite young actress, and she won the Academy Award for Best Actress. While filming her next movie Walker (1987) in Nicaragua, big-hearted Marlee took time to visit both hearing and hearing-impaired children. She continued this tradition of visiting local children throughout her travels to Germany, England, Italy, Australia, Mexico, Canada, etc. Marlee's interest in Criminal Justice played a part in her life onscreen; she portrayed an Assistant D.A. in the TV series "Reasonable Doubts" (1991); while offscreen she married police officer Kevin Grandalski on August 29, 1993. Marlee was nominated for an Emmy award in 1994, for her performance as Laurie Bey in the "Picket Fences" episode "Dancing Bandit." Marlee is also a Spokesperson for the National Captioning Institute. In 1995, Marlee testified at a Capitol Hill hearing, and helped get a law passed that requires all TV sets 13" inches or larger to be manufactured with built-in chips to provide "Closed Captioning" on their screens; this was a Godsend for all deaf people. Marlee is currently serving as the National Spokesperson for the largest provider of TV Closed Captioning, and has spoken on behalf of "CC" in countries as Australia, England, France and Italy. She also serves on the boards of a number of charitable organizations, including Very Special Arts, the Starlight Foundation, as well as other charities that primarily benefit children. As someone who loves children so much, it is only fitting that she has two children of her own: Sarah Rose, born January 1996, and Brandon, born September 2000. Professionally, Marlee has even tried producing, being the Executive Producer for Where the Truth Lies (1999) (TV). |

Marlee Matlin Joining 'The L Word'
Fri Apr 28, 1:16 PM
NEW YORK - Marlee Matlin is joining the cast of "The L Word," Showtime's drama about a circle of gay friends and lovers who move in the trendiest of L.A. circles.
The 40-year-old actress will play "a fiery artist who catches the attention of Jennifer Beals' character, Bette Porter," the cable network announced Friday.
Matlin won an Oscar for her portrayal of a deaf student in 1986's "Children of a Lesser God." Her TV credits include a recurring role on NBC's "The West Wing."
Showtime said the fourth season of the series will premiere early next year.
The ensemble cast also includes Pam Grier, Laurel Holloman, Mia Kirshner, Katherine Moennig, Leisha Hailey, Rachel Shelley and Daniela Sea. _________________ DAAAAAAAAANNNNNAAAAAAAAA!

MODERATOR'S NOTE: I know how confusing all these threads can be. This is technically "spoiler speculation" and belongs in that thread. THIS thread is reserved for "confirmed" spoilers...casting sides and other somewhat more official sources. LOL. Thanks!!
P.S., I'm reposting the content of what the OP posted here in the spoiler speculation thread.
Yeah, IT IS REALLY confusing... |

This just in:
Cybill Shepherd joining lesbian TV series
Cybill Shepherd has joined the cast of Showtime's lesbian-themed drama "The L Word," which is about to begin its fourth season.
Shepherd will play the president of the college where Bette Porter (Jennifer Beals) attends graduate school -- a married mother who suddenly begins to question her sexuality. "L Word" marks the first major series commitment for Shepherd since "Cybill," the CBS comedy that ran from 1995-98.
She next appears in the indie "Open Window," which premiered at January's Sundance Film Festival.

I'm going to unlock this forum, but PLEASE--spoilers ONLY--no discussion or speculation.
Clarice Starling posted this in the spoiler speculation thread:
New sprack posted by Sho intern over at Datalounge:
Bette and Jodie have a nice relationship. Lots in common, etc. Tina and Bette become good parents to Angelica. Tina and Bette become friends. Tina is single the entire season. Jodie isn't comfortable with the amount of time Bette spends with Tina and Angelica. As the season progresses, Jodie starts to pressure Bette for a commitment. She asks Bette to move in with her. Bette says no. Jodie issues an ultimatum. The relationship ends.
Also someone has posted that Tibette was over (not spelled like this) and Sho Intern posted and said:
Not quite yet
And I posted that Jane Lynch is going to be back for 1 episode of Season 4.
Spoilers ONLY here please! |

Apparently this was posted a while back on a message board by EZ;
Tina will be with the rest of the girls in the first episode. She also still has her boyfriend... look for this awesome band to perform at the end of that episode.
Marlee Matlin's character name is Jodie Jacobs.
Laurel Holloman will be around all season.
Sarah Shahi will be around for a three episode arc.
We have cast a new girlfriend for Max called Brooke.
Tasha has been cast.
Me and Ilene just did the DVD commentary for the season 3 DVDs.
Kate and Leisha are also doing the DVD commentary. Showtime is still trying to contact Erin so she can do another one. _________________ SEASON 4 AVATARS NOW AVAILABLE
