The phone conversations were tooo f*cking funny


i'm sorry but Tina attempted to call Bette...and asked how hard is it to get you on the phone and then Bette goes apaprently not that difficult! TOO FUNNY

and then when BEtte told James F*ck upi James!

I really felt Bette's vulnerability with Jodie...and it sucks since...seeing next week's previews...


ALice was SOOOO funny and cute....

ahh...Jenny..is ..well...yeah...

Max is crazy....

and Shane loved how Shay is becoming her world....

Helena is in big time trouble..


Tina...yeah...2 seconds of her...yikes....

i'm curious about how Bette and Tina manage to have all these conversations and NEITHER one of them TALKED TO the OTHER ABOUT PREsCHOOL...

just continues to show you...they still need to grow up...

A lot happened in this ep--I liked it a lot, but I'm really worried about Lindsey right now. Jenny was so, so awful and came clean far too late.

Very fast-paced ep, too--will be interesting to see how all this stuff shakes out next week.

As usual, we didn't see any conversation between Bette and Tina regarding preschool; also we don't know if Tina tried to call; everyone else is able to get through, why not Tina?

Bette was way stressed this week. Glad Jodie rethought her child reaction.

Poor James! that may be the most hilarious line of the episode.

As always loved the episode.

Poor Shane at the beginning her face was so funny she looked torn between bursting out in laughter and puking on the floor.

The whole phone convo's at the beginning was HILARIOUS!!! Everyone calling everyone at the same time. I was so waiting for her someone to say the wrong thing to the wrong person because they thought it was someone else, especially Bette and Phyllis' convo. That would have been heartbreaking for Phyllis but funny as hell for everone else. I'm thinking that the reason Bette was sewing up the rabbit was because she was so frustrated that she ripped its head off.

Phyllis take the hint that Alice doesnt want to be involved with you anymore. Yes if you werent married things would probably be different until Tasha showed her intrest but you are married so sorry. Get over it.

No comment on Tina because i dont know what to say about her. She had every right to get mad at Bette but they should have actually sat down and talked about it instead of having a screaming fit in Bette's office.

Papi's rules on 'poker' was funny with everything that was added in to it.

Bette and Jodi YAY!! I'm so happy for Bette, that she found someone else, that is if they last for more than sex. I reall want Bette to be happy but she cant seem to find someone right for her. Damn you Tina! Why'd you have to go back to men.

Alice: "F*@K MY MOTHER" That was hilarious when she said that after getting elbowed by Tasha.

Tasha is hot but what was she wearing at Alices house? She looked hot at the party though.

I dont see how it can work with Bette and Jodi when Jodi doesnt like kids but she showed up later so maybe after she gets to know Angelica she will change her mind. That date was a disaster!

The bad thing about Jenny is that she actually likes Lindsay but she screwed it up by lying to her.

Poor James. He had to be on the recieving end of Bette's rath. "F*@k you James" That was wrong Bette. Calm down.

Tasha dont give up on Alice just yet. She may have baggage but she wants you and its the other way around.

I admire Max for coming out to his boss but i figure that it will cause him his job. I hope not.

Bette and Jodi were a bore for me. Actually I found nearly the whole episode boring, even the phone tree. Sorry but I could only take about 2 minutes of that. It definitely would've been better if someone had messed up and spoken to the wrong person. I kept waiting for Bette to do that. What was with the bunny rabbit? Is that her stress toy?

I really liked tonights episode. I thought how proud I am of Shane. It was as if even in the lime light her little brother is her world. I like Paige too and I trust her to not be another Carmen. He, he. Ok, I DO NOT like Phillis. The begging turns me off. Angus...I'll get back to that. My gal Jenny- wished she had punched the reporter's nose in. And let's see- kudos to Alice and Tasha. I think next week we'll find out if Jody will learn to like kids. Max...nevermind. And ah yes Papi. I think we need more drama from her. Another poker game? I'm crossing my fingers for Helena....Again I'm impressed with Shane. ( IC please put Papi and Shane in the same ring!) Alright back to the topic, Shane's modeling was great. I think she should continue. Wow, that was a lot. Gooooood show!!

It was a Very nice touch that Bette went to the trouble of learning and practicing Sign Language - well, the entire alphabet and at least 30 words, which still puts her ahead of the vast majority of hearing parents of deaf children. (BTW, the sentence she signed to Jody was "Because you don't seem to be frightened of anything." And she did it extremely - almost unbelievably - well for someone who learned it only within the preceding two hours!).

The opening with the phone tree - and Phyllis going nuts and making Bette nuts - was splendid. Tina might have seemed pushy, but she had come to get Bette to co-sign a school admission -- and was told that Bette had unilaterally tried to get Angelica admitted to any of three or four other schools that hadn't been discussed with Tina. Even among heteros, one spouse doing this without consulting the other is going to lead to arguments.
Evidently Max/Moira is now out of a job.

Helena was a fool to gamble when she had - at she explained to Alice at the start of the show - no money at all. And she knew this Roberta was a Big Time gambler, not penny ante. Oddly, Helena wasn't a gambling addict, since she seemed completely new to poker (Texas Hold-em style, which seems to have replaced conventional - cowboy - poker in TV and movies now - even replacing Baccarat in the latest James Bond movie). But who was the brunette (Roberta? the organizer of the game?) who is evidently making her pay off her gambling losses on her back?? And who is the very stylish blonde (Saskya?) who was almost introduced to Shane when the phone call about Shay's nightmare interrupted? The same blonde showed up at the poker game.

Did anyone notice that the poker lesson with Papi was done with a pornographic deck -- something with a naked girl on every card? You don't find those just anywhere - usually at (men's) porno stores and not cheap (and I wouldn't be surprised if the cardboard was low quality). I think it's pretty much the same deck reprinted forever, so the grandchildren of some of the girls in the photos are dead of old age by now.

Phyllis has issues...I don't believe that she's gone off the deep end that way!

How Tina and Bette didn't talk about Angelica's pre-school plans reminded me of in S1 how they hadn't talked about the rece of their sperm donor. They must be among the worst communicators in history!

Why did Bette tell James to f*ck off--he's such a sweetie!

Jenny is Even she had to hear how f*cked up that whole thing was when she explained it to them.

Jodie and Bette were hot! But not enough... How can Bette decide to "try again" after she said in no uncertain terms that kids were "a hassle"?

I actually liked Papi in this one; but she got to see the drama that can come up from her actions! Probably not her first situation like that...

Tasha is my girl! Nice smile, kinda shy.

Hmm...what is gonna happen with Shane and Paige?

Wow! I didn't think that Max would go there! Wow.... He's definitely out of a job now after dodging the bullet the first time, unless his boss is really, really open-minded!

I don't think Hazel is gonna go away without creating some mess!

I had a feeling that Helena was a known entity at that party once she gave her name! ALWAYS READ STUFF BEFORE YOU SIGN IT! She should have taken her money and run! Now, since we didn't see the f*ck on the $50,000 carpet between Bette and Sen. Grisham last season, we will possibly see the $50,000 f*ck next week! Will Catherine really make her go through with it!

What the heck does it mean, "You're looking very Shane today"? Catchy, but meaningless!

Still can't bear to see Bette with anyone but Tina, but glad that Nadia's out of the picture.
Despite my hopes that Max would lose her job and go back to the midwest after the boss's daughter blew her off, I have a feeling that the boss is quite liberal, despite his shocked appearance.
Phyllis is becoming a stalker. It's getting scary!
Papi was cool this episode, as was Alice as always. Shane seemed as if she was going to be sick at any given moment.
Still the same questions remain...Where is Carmen, Marina and Claude? All dropped off the face of the L Word? Has the series been renewed? Any news?

Okay, I am a little confused about the Helena situation at the end. Didn't see any previews for next week so that could be why. Anyway, does she have to pay off her debt with another poker game or a poke-her game? ha ha couldn't resist.

Loved this episode, and I too was waiting for Bette to talk to Phyllis when thinking she was talking to Alice. Were they not setting it up like that? Come on people!
