I posted this in the episode 12 thread..but i guess it probably belongs here..

I have great hopes for bette and tina. I feel like they both have simular sentiments towards eachother but both are scared to take a step forward because BOTH of them have been hurt by eachother in the past.

My prediction for season 5:
It will start just after this season ended (like season 4 started), Jenny will have some dramatic return from her trip on the little dingy, alice will have to deal with tasha leaving and being in iraq, bette and jodi are going to talk and bette is going to tell her that tina has been coaching her, and jodi is going to immediately start feeling insecure with tina.. Bette and Jodi are going to return from NY, and Tina is going to be asleep on Bette's couch (she wanted to drop off Angie so that Bette could see her little girl when she got home), and Jodi is going to see how tina feels for bette... I mean, sleeping on the couch waiting for her to come home, just so that she could see her little girl, now that is a sign of love!
I think Bette and Jodi will stay together for a while, but bette's friendship with Tina willl continue to cause more and more strain on their relationship and eventually, Jodi will leave again, and bette WONT go after her!

I have really high hopes for Bette and Tina Smile

I think they have MUCH more chemistry than Bette and Jodi do. However i think that bette and Tina need to learn how to start trusting eachother again before they even think about getting back together. Its so clear that Tina is still in love with Bette, and i think that Bette knows this, shes just scared.
Im really interested in whats going to happen with helena now that shes stolen catherines money! I hope she isnt put in jail or something, maybe Peggy will come and save her Very Happy

Jenny will change a lot. I think she snapped at the end, and now she'll be all nice. Still as crazy, but she'll cop on Shane is like her only friend and try to fix her relationships with everyone else. aiwebs2

Alice will be happy, Tasha will be back, and hopefully Shane and Alice will have fun again, like before Dana died Sad

Helena needs to be included in the fun, as does Papi

Carmen will so be back next season! That Eva Torres reference was way clever!!! Laughing

Alright, I predict some working towards Tibette, but, unless it's the last season, I see obstacles... other than Jodi, of course, who I DO think will start to get insecure with the B&T friendship, even though she seems cool with it now.

I think Jenny was ok towards the middle of s2 when she started living with Shane... and a tad this season before all the book crap and in between that. I guess I'd really like to see her be a little managable... I loves me some crazies, but she needs to reel it in a little before I'm on board.

I think Tasha's gone... and Paige. Just the way the world works. Not so sure about Papi, but I kinda hope Phyllis is back. It's a s/l that needs to be played out.

Kit... who knows. I have no idea where any of that is going at this point. I kind of want to see her back with Angus. He was kind of weak, but I like him.

Who else... Tina! Oh! Tina should be good, if they capitalize on it. She can be all supportive for Bette, but secretly on the prowl for her! I could dig that.

Helena... on the run like Bette was at the beginning of s4. Hopefully, Peggy will intervene. A season without the Peg-ster... not good.

Who the hell am I missing? I covered Shane in a roundabout way... no more Paige, Shane back to her fun self. I hope.

So, yeah... That's my 10 cents worth. aiwebs2

Well we already know Paige won't be back since KL said she's done with TLW, so that means that Shane will have already broken up with her by the time Season 5 starts. I'm also pretty sure I read somewhere that the actress playing Tasha is doing some other series, so she won't be back either; so they'll probably have her get killed in Iraq, and make Alice lose it again -- maybe they will turn Alice into an angry, bitter anti-war activist next season. I don't think CS is returning either, so perhaps the season opens with Bette having taken a leave of absence from the university to be with Jodie in NY, but then she is offered the Vice Chancellor position, so she decides to go back to LA. She tries to convince Jodie to come back with her, but Jodie refuses to leave NY. So they have a long-distance relationship for a while that eventually fizzles. Bette and Tina will then get together - FINALLY!! - and live happily ever after. THE END.

Back to the season 5 speculation....

You know what? I really don't know! I mean that honestly. They've taken us on such a whirley bird of stories, experiences, emotions, places, people, you name it - we got it. To be completely honest, I don't have a clue what will go on with our characters next season.....and I don't know whether that's a good thing or a bad thing..........

Bette - besides Jodi at first. Then what?? Do you think she'll get back with Tina at this point?

Tina - don't remember if AS is coming back so will Kate still be in the picture for her? Maybe they'll bring in a new character for Tina to play with for a bit.

Jenny - who the f*ck knows what's up with that. S4 ending was soooooo stupid, I'm sorry. Who knows what's going to happen with her now.

Shane - clearly KL isn't returning so then no Paige. Maybe we'll see Shane deal with ANOTHER dramatic endeavor dealing with ANOTHER sad experience to start the season off. But then what? Who knows??

Helena - I have no idea

Max - either does or doesn't have the surgery. Maybe we get to see him really start to build up OurChart? Who knows about love interests. I wonder what's up with Grace?

Alice - who knows if we see Tasha again or not. Either way I think we'll have to see Alice deal with all that crap of "losing" another lover whether it be real or figuratively while she's away.

Kit - more than likely she'll get back with Angus. That couple bores me to death, I can't help it.

Papi - coming back? Still a pointless character to take up screen time for no reason? Probably.

Phyllis - don't care for her either. Maybe we'll see bits and pieces of her and Joyce. You know it's either going to be happy couple or bad breakup. There's apparently no other option on this show, lol.
