Yay!!!!

Well, the highlight of the show for me was the interactions between Tasha and Alice. Those two are so sweet together, and I love that Alice has managed to overcome her original reluctance to support Tasha's dedication to the military. But she still can't manage to keep her mouth shut, as Tasha asked her to! Their argument after dinner was so intense, and it was touching seeing Tasha so vulnerable at the end. It was clearly disappointing that her old friend froze her out when she told him why she sought counsel. She's gonna need a lot of support, and I hope that Alice is up to the challenge! In spite of how unlikely this pairing seems to be on the surface, I am pulling for them to make it! Smile

The show has been criticized for not showing a more realistic range of body types of lesbians. Well, this time we got to see a lot more--while soapy and naked! Shocked

Wish we could see more of that throught the show!

Loved Kit and that '70s blaxploitation music as she strutted through the jail!

Sheesh, Tina--could you have been a bit more restrained in talking about Bette and Angelica during a date Question

And are you so far out of touch with the dating scene to realize that she blew you off? I hope she comes back to date someone--she was kyoot! aiwebs2

And Bette was none too subtle about checking out what Tina was up to when she approached the table!

I fear that Adele has stalkerish tendencies! Gee...maybe she'll be the one to off Jenny--painfully, and in her sleep! Laughing

Shane--totally out of control!

What happens when you assume...Dusty is in jail for tax fraud? rofl

Phyllis: "Help me!" rofl

Wasn't there some desperateness apparent when Joyce was pleading with Phyllis not to break up with her? I'm not so sure that was realistic, unless the goal was to show that she has a vulnerable side, in spite of all her usual bravado!

I'm waiting for Peggy to appear and say some typically droll comment before giving Helena her freedom!

About the opening...finally, all the BeLena/Helebette fans got a far-too-short glimpse of that possibility. I thought it was funny how Tina and Jenny simultaneously said that Shawn and Bev "would never happen!" Laughing

They spent far too long on that potential hookup. Frankly, they should have given most of the time to Bev and Helen! The struggling to be on top was cute, but something about how it was speeded up cooled off what might have been hot!

I really doubt that Jodi would have repeated herself that way after the dinner--lousy editing...

my two favorite moments of ep. 2 were Shane running away from bridemades and the mother, it was really funny and Kate demonstrated some comic talent; and the second was Tina's date...not only she talked about Bette and Angie the whole time, Bette also thought it was necessary to come and interrupt them Laughing

those two so NOT over each other

I LOVED the little clips they showed of Bette and Helena, Bette and Shane, Tina and Shane!!! They were too damn funny.

I said to my wife "I bet those Belena fans are just screaming with excitement to see that"

I thought it was a great show. You can clearly sense Bette's jealousy (as subtle as it may seem right now).

The clip with Shane and Tina together...OMG, when she threw her head back I wanted to faint right there. SWEEEEEET! Now I can't wait for Tina to do that very thing when Bette is endlessly pleasing her.

I felt bad for Tasha, but having worked for the military I remember that whole scenario. Alice really does need to be respectful of her wishes that SHE be the one to tell people, no matter how close Alice is with her friends.

As for Jenny...well I still can't stand her.

Jody made a few rude remarks, but what else is new?

Helena...Hmm...was very surprised that she was the one to initiate that kiss with her cell mate. From the sneak peaks, I assumed she was placed in a vulnerable situation by her roomy.

Phyllis was funny as hell.

Overall good stuff.
