Any info on booking a room at THe Norbreck? I've checked Sean's website and no info there. Also, I purchased gold tickets but the money has not been withdrawn from my Visa credit card as yet. When will that happen? Any info would be gratefully accepted. Thanks.

argh, I hate this part, there's no way I'm gonna call internationally to book a room and pay a fortune for that phonecall, so I guess no Norbreck for me I'll just book online whichever other hotel I can get...

here's the info on the hotel

The rates are the Norbreck are as follows:

SINGLE ROOM RATES
£156 for a single room for 3 nights (Fri to Mon)
£190 for a single room for 4 nights (Thurs to Mon)
TWIN / DOUBLE ROOM RATES
£266 for a double / twin room for 3 nights (Fri to Mon)
£336 for a double / twin room for 4 nights (Thurs to Mon).

These rates are for Bed abd Breakfast.

STARFURY has booked out the entire Norbreck, so in order to book a room on those dates you need to quote STARFURY and L-WORD.

Just a heads up folks, if you are booking at the Norbreck, apparently some folks posting on Starfury site have had problems getting booked due to the staff at the hotels inhouse booking not knowing what rate, saying no rooms (the whole hotel has been booked for Lword) or charging wrong deposit. The hotel is also apparently saying they will take the remaining payment several weeks before the convention.

The folks that spoke to a guy called George at the inhouse booking place said they got sorted really quickly with the right rate etc so if you call try and get George. - Also quote starfury and l word to ensure you are able to book
